So I’ve been trying to sell the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for a couple months now. A few weeks or so ago, Opposaurus made one of his famous photoshops of it. It looks like a Previa mated with a Roadmaster, which frankly looks pretty damn cool. He dared me to include the photochop in the ad, and what can I say, the dude abides.

I’ve seen a municipal worker make the same mistake for a half a decade.
I used to live in Dallas. The HQ for Mobil has been in Dallas for a long time, even before the merger w/ Exxon. The Mobil pegasus has been adopted as a symbol for the whole city - that’s how long it’s been there. Mobil is entrenched.
Anyway, some city worker was once upon a time tasked with creating a sticker to give to holders of a non-fixed tire repair business permit. I once saw a truck with 6-7 consective years’ worth of “City of Dallas Mobil Tire Repair Permit” stickers affixed. Truly, a “change the color, increment the year, print another batch!” operation.
Related anecdote - Now I live in the Austin area. The county courthouse nearest my house also has a tax office in it, so I go there from time to time to transfer vehicle titles, etc. It’s also the location for early voting. On the outside of the door to one of the courtrooms, there is a paper sign that admonishes people to “check in with the clerk before enter the courtroom”. I corrected the sign in pen (I added “ing” to the end of “enter”) 2 YEARS ago. It’s a really crappy looking correction. IT’S STILL THERE as of a week ago.
